Position: Security Officer - Part Time, Friday-Saturday, Overnight
Security Officer (Reception / Patrol)

Location: Waltham, MA
Schedule: Friday & Saturday | 11:00 P.M. – 7:00 A.M. (Overnight)
Pay: $20.00/hour

We are hiring a dependable Security Officer for an overnight post in Waltham, MA. This position combines front desk/reception responsibilities with active patrol duties. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe, professional, and secure environment for our client.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV systems and conduct routine foot patrols

• Control site access (check IDs, issue visitor badges, restrict unauthorized entry)

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies as needed

• Complete accurate and detailed incident reports

• Provide professional customer service to employees and visitors

• Identify and report safety hazards

• Maintain a visible security presence and enforce site rules

Qualifications

• Strong observation and de-escalation skills

• Professional communication skills

• Ability to remain calm under pressure

• Basic to intermediate computer proficiency

• High level of integrity and reliability

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older

• High school diploma or GED

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

• Reliable transportation and communication

• Ability to read, write, and speak English
