Northeast Security is looking for a Security Outdoor Patrol Officer in Boston, MA. Pay rate: $23.00/hour. Parking is provided on‑site.

Schedule:

Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm.

• Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Computer literacy is required (MS Windows, Outlook, One Note).
• Minimum of 2 years of security experience.
• Constant foot patrol and monitoring outdoors in all weather conditions for the majority of the shift.
• Respond to emergency situations involving patrons with quality‑of‑life issues such as homelessness and addictions.
• Write incident reports.
• Remain alert and active on foot for the majority of the shift.
• De‑escalate irate tenant/customer calls and access requests.
• Excellent computer skills utilizing multiple screens.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
• Dependable means of transportation.
• Communicate clearly and effectively in English (written and verbal).
• High‑school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Pass all pre‑employment background and drug screenings.
• At least 18 years of age.

• Respond to emergency situations in person.
• Operate outdoors in all weather conditions to monitor, patrol, and respond to threats/emergencies.
• Use modern technology to monitor a variety of alarm signals and respond/dispatch security personnel to those areas following the standard operations manual.
• Answer incoming lines.
• Work individually and as a team to respond to incidents.
• Review security footage and conduct investigations of incidents.
• Remain calm and work well in a fast‑paced environment.
• Patrol and monitor multiple premises to detect irregularities, including suspicious behavior or security breaches.
• Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity.
• Communicate with local law enforcement units and fire departments as necessary.
• Conduct foot patrols of the premises.
• Write detailed daily reports on incidents that occurred on the premises.
• Maintain proper use, completion, and submission of all forms associated with patrol activities and/or duties.
• Respond to requests for assistance and evaluate appropriate courses of action.
• Comply with all requirements/directives within the on‑site operations manual/post orders.
• Assume other duties as required by either client or Northeast Security, Inc.
