Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out access control, security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting issues to appropriate personnel and/or public responders as directed by post orders;
Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or policy violations;
Monitor cameras, alarms, and/or building systems as assigned, documenting observations and escalating concerns according to site-specific protocols;
Complete accurate written and/or electronic reports, log entries, and shift handoffs, including incident details, patrol findings, and customer service interactions
