When critical infrastructure or sensitive assets face severe threats, Inter‑Con relies on specially trained Security Officers. Key responsibilities include providing visible, proactive patrol and emergency response duties in an assigned location; delivering customer service, conducting physical security checks, and investigating suspicious or unsafe circumstances. This is a 100% field‑facing role with heavy public contact, often involving potentially dangerous or suspicious individuals.

• Provide security field operations proactively with an emphasis on customer service.
• Respond effectively to security‑related activities, incidents, inquiries, suspicious circumstances, and emergencies.
• Coordinate with Security Leadership on expectations and priorities and implement solutions as needed.
• Execute all security assignments consistently.
• Communicate effectively with GSOC, Security Leadership, peers, and internal/external partners.
• Write professional, well‑written incident reports for all security incidents.

• High‑School diploma, with some college credits, preferably an Associate degree, or equivalent education and work experience.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in security, customer service, or a closely related role.
• Strong computer and system skills, including office software, access management, CCTV, alarm systems, and incident reporting systems.
• Ability to prioritize work in a fast‑paced organization, coordinating and managing multiple tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with standards and training.
• Strong strategic, analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, allowing effective communication with all levels of the organization.

• Jobs operate at client sites, which could be indoors or outdoors.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during daily security activities.
• Open availability nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as directed.
• Work various shifts and holidays as assigned.
