This is a full‑time second‑shift position, with part‑time opportunities also available. Ideal candidates will have prior security guard experience, preferably with a background in restaurant or bouncer‑style security.

• Management of visitors at access control points with a combination of utmost courtesy, decisiveness, and professionalism.
• Consistently resolute professional appearance and demeanor of public‑facing employees.
• Validate strict compliance with security standards.
• Emphasis on interaction with affinity participants such as local, state police, and DHS.
• Ensure high standards of conduct/zero tolerance for non‑professional behavior.
• Effective and transparent employee discipline procedures.
• High touchpoints between and among contract employees, client management, and company managers.
• Preparedness planning for effective response to potential crises.
• Provide high level customer service to clients through daily interaction with students, staff, faculty and visitors.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to react quickly to a changing environment.
• Advanced ability to respond to security breaches and threats.
• Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.
• Ability to inform personnel and visitors of security procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and communication skills.
• Possess an ability to be flexible and perform a variety of security duties.

• A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of security systems and surveillance equipment preferred.
• CPR, First Aid, AED, NARCAN, MOAB, or ACT I, II, or III certifications highly preferred.
• Associate’s degree or greater in Criminal Justice related studies.
• Experience in documenting, observations, customer service and security procedures.
• Previous concierge experience.
