Responsible for monitoring security systems, responding to emergencies, and providing assistance to patients, visitors, and staff.

Essential Functions- Monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems, to detect and respond to security breaches or incidents.
- Maintain situational awareness by observing video surveillance feeds and monitoring system alerts.
- Document and report any suspicious activities, security incidents, or policy violations according to established procedures.
- Respond to emergency situations, such as medical emergencies, fires, security breaches, or other incidents.
- Initiate appropriate emergency protocols and procedures, including contacting emergency services, notifying relevant personnel, and providing assistance as needed.
- Maintain communication with emergency response teams, providing updates and coordinating efforts to resolve the situation.
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No
Licenses and Credentials:
Experience in security operations, preferably in a healthcare or similar setting. 1-2 years preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
- Familiarity with emergency response protocols and procedures.
- Excellent observation and situational awareness skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in high-pressure situations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with individuals at all levels, including patients, visitors, and staff.
- Ability to maintain composure and make sound judgments during emergencies or stressful situations.
