Senior Associate Scientist

Qualifications

• B.S. in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field with 6 years of relevant industry experience or a Master's with 3+ years
• Hands‑on experience with mammalian cell culture and sterile technique.
• Experience executing plate‑based assays, including multichannel pipetting and/or liquid handling.
• Experience supporting or running liquid chromatography‐mass spectrometry assays
• Familiarity with cell‑based uptake/trafficking measurements
• Experience with proximity‑dependent cellular readouts
• Experience in oncology and/or peptide modalities preferred
• Experience with automation (liquid handlers), high‑throughput assay operations, and assay QC statistics

• Day‑to‑day CE assay testing for discovery compounds (e.g., plate‑based cellular assays with proximity‑dependent or other CE readouts), including cell seeding, compound dilution/dispensing, dosing, incubation, endpoint measurement, and primary QC.
• Maintain consistent assay performance through use of controls, reference standards, acceptance criteria, and routine trending of key metrics
• Support compound testing workflows aligned to project needs, enabling rapid iteration of structure–activity relationships in partnership with the Scientist and chemistry teams.
• Compile, organize, and present assay outputs (tables/figures) for team discussions; clearly communicate assay performance and any anomalies.
• Independently identify technical issues, and troubleshoot and implement process improvements within SOPs.
• Assist with reagent qualification, assay robustness checks, and method transfers between team members/equipment.
• Maintain shared lab spaces and critical equipment; ordering, inventory, and preparation of routine buffers
