Overview
You will join our client, a well-established life sciences services organization, as an Account Executive responsible for building and expanding client relationships across pharma, biotech, medical device, and diagnostics companies.
This role is designed for experienced life sciences staffing or sales professionals who are ready to own revenue, drive opportunities, and grow accounts through solution-oriented selling. You will leverage your industry knowledge, existing relationships, and consultative approach to open doors, qualify opportunities, and convert conversations into long-term workforce solutions.
You will work closely with senior leadership, operations, and subject matter experts while owning opportunities from initial discovery through early deal progression, with a clear path to full book ownership.
What You Will Do Business Development & Relationship BuildingProspect into life sciences organizations using a relationship-first approach
Leverage your existing network to generate meetings and opportunities
Engage decision-makers including business leaders, functional heads, and talent leaders
Identify client pain points related to capacity, delivery, and workforce strategy
Position staffing and functional service provider (FSP) solutions based on client needs
Participate in discovery conversations and early-stage solution design
Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to shape client recommendations
Help progress opportunities from initial conversation through proposal stage
Expand within existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling
Identify long-term opportunities that can grow from staffing into broader solutions
Maintain accurate pipeline activity and notes in Hub Spot
Work closely with senior Account Executives and leadership
Participate in deal reviews, pipeline discussions, and strategy sessions
Share market insights and feedback from client conversations
Consistent generation of qualified meetings and opportunities
Strong engagement with existing and new accounts
Demonstrated ability to articulate client problems and solution approaches
Progression toward managing a book of business independently
3+ years of experience in sales within life sciences staffing, recruiting, or workforce solutions
Proven experience carrying a sales quota or revenue target
Experience selling into pharma, biotech, medical device, or diagnostics clients
Comfort running discovery calls and progressing opportunities
Relationship-driven, consultative sales approach
Experience using a CRM to manage activity, pipeline, and follow-up
Exposure to FSP, outsourcing, or solution-based delivery models
Existing life sciences client relationships
Experience supporting RFPs or proposal development
Base salary: $80,000–$110,000 depending on experience
On-target earnings (OTE): 100% of base
Variable compensation tied to meetings generated, pipeline contribution, and opportunity progression
Earnings increase as opportunities convert into longer-term accounts
Clear path into full Account Executive compensation with book ownership
Flexible location with preference for Northeast-based candidates
Travel required for client meetings, conferences, and industry events
