Senior Account Executive

Bootstrap Compost is seeking an experienced, high-energy Account Executive to help grow our commercial footprint across Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

This is a senior individual-contributor role — not entry-level and not management. We’re looking for a proven B2B seller from waste management, environmental services, facilities services, or sustainability who thrives on proactive prospecting, field sales, and closing operational service solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Build pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and field activity
• Manage the full sales cycle from first contact through contract and launch
• Conduct on-site assessments and design customized composting and diversion programs
• Partner with Operations to ensure every new account is operationally viable and profitable
• Educate clients on organics regulations, contamination prevention, and diversion best practices

Who You Are

• 5+ years B2B sales experience in waste, environmental, facilities, or route-based services
• Proven hunter with strong closing skills
• Comfortable selling service-based, operational solutions
• Knowledge of composting, waste diversion, or organics programs strongly preferred
• Familiar with MA/RI organics regulations a plus

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
