Responsibilities

As a Brand Sales Specialist for IBM's integration portfolio, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by creating demand and progressing opportunities to close for IBM's integration portfolio. This role requires a strong ability to identify and pursue new sales opportunities, working closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Create Demand and Opportunities:
    Develop and execute strategies to create demand and identify new sales opportunities for IBM's integration portfolio, driving growth and revenue expansion.
  • Progress Opportunities to Close:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions to progress opportunities through the sales cycle and ultimately close deals.
  • Solution Delivery:
    Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client needs, ensuring seamless integration and implementation of IBM's integration portfolio.
Education

Required: Bachelor's Degree

Preferred: Bachelor's Degree

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Technology Solution Sales:
    Experience with creating demand and progressing opportunities to close for integration and API management technologies, such as in IBM's integration portfolio.
  • Client Needs Analysis:
    Experience in working closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions, driving growth and revenue expansion.
  • Product Knowledge:
    Experience with in integration products, including their capabilities, applications, and implementation requirements.
  • Sales Strategy Development:
    Experience developing and executing strategies to identify new sales opportunities and drive sales growth for specific products or technologies.
  • Solution Implementation:
    Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client needs, ensuring seamless integration and implementation.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
  • Technology Solution Sales Expertise:
    Experience with creating demand and progressing opportunities to close for integration and API management technologies beyond IBM's integration portfolio is beneficial.
  • Additional Product Knowledge:
    Familiarity with products similar to IBM's integration portfolio, including their capabilities, applications, and implementation requirements, can be an asset.
  • Advanced Sales Strategy Development:
    Experience developing and executing complex strategies to identify new sales opportunities and drive sales growth for multiple products or technologies is advantageous.
