As a mid‑level Account Executive, you will manage and grow our SLED (State, Local Government, and Education) market segment, building strategic relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue through consultative selling of our IT services and solutions.

As a highly driven Account Executive, you will cultivate and manage sales opportunities in the SLED market, deepen and broaden relationships within existing accounts, and actively pursue new prospects. Success requires a strong understanding of public‑sector procurement, the ability to navigate long sales cycles, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
PRIMARY DUTIES- Grow account spend within an existing territory and methodically pursue new SLED entities.
- Engage with existing and potential customers to understand needs and pain points and advise on suitable solutions.
- Present additional New Era offerings aligned with current and future client needs.
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date customer information and sales activity in the CRM.
- Provide strategic account information to executive management.
- Facilitate effective client relationships between internal departments and management.
- Represent the company at trade shows, trade associations, and client meetings.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues related to sales and service.
- Consult with department heads to plan advertising services, secure product information, and gather customer specifications.
- Prepare compelling proposals, ensuring consistency with corporate standards.
- Deliver product demonstrations on‑site and off‑site.
- Complete all required sales and activity reports and attend sales meetings.
- Participate in corporate and product training sessions and seminars.
- Deliver outstanding customer support and service to all customers.
- Work with internal support teams and management on the closing of business opportunities.
- Participate in company‑wide projects and promotions (e.g., trade shows).
- Aggressive, energetic, self‑starter with solution and relationship sales skills.
- Proven sales performance maintaining strong customer relationships at the enterprise level, confident in presenting to Director, VP, and C‑level stakeholders.
- Excellent networking, presentation, and communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Platform and CRM software.
3–5 years of experience selling in the SLED market segment.
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORKOffice hours: 8 am–5 pm. Additional time may be required based on opportunities, client needs, and other related work.
TRAVELThroughout assigned territory. Additional travel may be required for client and corporate needs.

- Ability to see and read computer screens and printed documents.

PAYRANGE
$90,000 – $100,000 USD (baseline). First‑year OTE: $180,000 – $200,000 USD.
