Milk Street is a Boston-based food media company whose mission is Change the Way You Cook. With an online store, radio show, magazine, cooking school and more, we offer an invitation to the cooks of the world to sit at the same table.

We are looking for a highly-organized, data-driven individual who will work alongside our Ecommerce team. You will keep track of upcoming product launches, help maintain our Shopify storefront, and assist in communications with both our warehouse & customer service teams. If you thrive in a spreadsheet and have a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you. The ideal candidate is solution-oriented, never leaves a job half-done, and who cares about Milk Street’s mission and values.

You will be part of a team who is responsible for supporting you and ensuring you have what you need to be successful. It’s also critical that you can communicate well with multiple departments. You will partake in regular meetings to report on current project updates and findings.

• Data & Reporting: Update project spreadsheets with new data points, identify trends and insights from large datasets, and be prepared to share findings with multiple teams.
• Storefront Management: Assist in building Shopify listings, uploading copy & photos, maintaining collections for upcoming promotions, & maintaining featured products.
• Sales & Promotional Execution: Assist in scheduling discounts, price changes, sale banners, & keeping up to date with the marketing schedule.
• Product Knowledge: Develop a strong knowledge of our products & store, as well as new launches, & assist in staying on top of launch schedules.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Customer Service team and be ready to assist as needed, communicate regularly with our warehouse team & stay on top of current concerns.

• Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree required, background in Statistics preferred.
• Spreadsheet Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and/or Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and complex data organization should be second nature to you).
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a high attention to detail is required. Communicating what you need from our team is also critical.

  Must be extremely well organized, be able to maintain records and track ongoing projects. Detail-oriented is a must, we’re looking for someone who loves to see a job well done.
• Adaptability: Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• This is a full-time Monday-Friday position from 8-4 or 9-5 EST, whichever best suits your schedule.

• Basic understanding of Shopify, Gorgias, and/or Airtable is a plus, but not required. You will receive training and support in learning our systems.
• Prior experience in online retail or a warehouse/fulfillment-adjacent role is a plus.
• Experience in the kitchen supply or the gourmet food industry is a plus.

Boston Office: While this position can be fully remote, if you’re local, two days per week in our Downtown Boston office are required. There is often delicious food on offer from our testing kitchen, new products to test & sample, large quarterly giveaways, and more!
