Customer Success Manager - Boston

Overview

As a Customer Success Manager, you will proactively drive new product attachment and build strong relationships across our existing customer base through on-boarding, up-selling and cross-selling. You’ll advocate for the customer internally and focus on a positive customer experience. Interactions center on relationship-management while identifying growth opportunities and clearly conveying the value of the Datadog product.

• Partner with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition and onboarding experience
• Proactively build relationships with customers to create mutual trust
• Carry out the full sales cycle for growth opportunities in existing customer accounts
• Act as advisor to customers to ensure they leverage the Datadog solution effectively
• Monitor usage trends to uncover renewal risks and drive greater adoption
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal Datadog teams (Support, Product, Finance, Legal)

• A strong communicator with excellent attention to detail
• Motivated by building long-term relationships
• Able to make a visible impact with your work
• 5-7 years of experience in a customer-facing role
• Customer-minded, focused on delivering maximum value
• Excited by an evolving, solution-focused environment
• Experience negotiating contract terms and handling pricing objections related to up-sell/cross-sell activities
