Northeast Sales Representative
Location: Field based in New England Territory (In-Person office in Westbrook, Maine)
Travel Requirement: 75% field based travel with some overnight stays as required
Sales Territory: covering Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts
Role OverviewAs mainelove’s first Field Sales Rep, you will report to the Head of Sales. This role is critical in driving revenue growth and building relationships with major retail customers, distributors, and independent retailers in the Northeast. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of success in sales, has a strong work ethic, and has a passion for the beverage industry.
Responsibilities- Create, build and maintain strong partnerships with Distributors, Retailers, and independent retailers to grow mainelove portfolio in the Northeast
- Apply mainelove sales strategies in key markets to provide an aluminum alternative to single use plastics
- Communicate to our Distributor Partners to plan and execute in-market expression with upcoming promotional programs and activities
- Identify new opportunities with Distributor Partners to grow sales
- Execute up to 15 field sales visits per day depending on geography & initiatives
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- An entrepreneurial spirit (forward thinker, owner mentality) with willingness to adapt to company changes to meet company hyper growth needs
- Ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets
- 1+ years of field based sales or distributor sales or Direct Store Delivery (DSD) experience within the Beverage and distributor sales environment preferred
- Must possess a valid driver license and have a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations required
- Willingness to meet the high field based travel needs of the role
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
- Ability to stand/walk in store and sit in a vehicle for extended periods of time
- Ability to regularly carry equipment and product up to 50 lbs
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
- General physical exertion from building displays, rotating stock, etc.
- Safely operate a Company vehicle to fulfill work-related duties
The typical salary range for this position is: $45,000-$75,000
The actual salary offer will take into account multiple factors including skills, experience, education and location. Please note that the salary details listed in role postings reflect the base salary only, not total compensation, which includes equity and benefits.
