Overview

This is a senior individual contributor role for a high-growth enterprise software company in the Banking and Financial Services sector. The Director of Sales will drive new business within BFSI, manage complex sales cycles, build strategic client relationships, and close high-value deals across large U.S. banks, credit unions, and financial institutions.

Travel:
Up to 75% within the territory.

Reports to:

VP of Sales.

Location:

On-site in Boston/Hartford, with regular travel throughout the territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close

• Drive new logo acquisition across banking and financial services clients

• Develop and execute strategic account plans to penetrate enterprise accounts

• Engage senior stakeholders (CIOs, COOs, CFOs, Heads of Lending/Operations) with a consultative, solution-oriented approach

• Sell a suite of enterprise solutions including:

• Loan Origination Systems

• Digital Account Opening

• BPM, ECM, Case Management

• Low-Code and Hyper-Automation Platforms

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external consulting partners to strengthen deal execution

• Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets

Ideal Candidate Profile

• +12 years of enterprise software sales experience

• Strong track record in complex deal execution and new business generation

• Experience selling to large U.S. banks, FIs, and credit unions

• Deep familiarity with banking technology solutions and financial services workflows

• Ability to manage long sales cycles and influence multi-stakeholder buying decisions

• Comfortable working independently while collaborating cross-functionally
