Client Advisor – Environmental Practice
Apply to join Marsh Risk as a Client Advisor supporting Environmental clients. This hybrid role is based in either New York City, NY or Boston, MA and requires working in the office at least three days per week.
Job SummarySalary Range: $120,500 – $256,700 (base). Additional performance‑based incentives and a total rewards package are available.
Responsibilities- Act as lead advisory colleague on medium‑ to moderately complex accounts.
- Build and maintain relationships with underwriters and clients, serving as the primary point of contact for day‑to‑day service needs.
- Develop and execute renewal and placement strategies in collaboration with Placement, Advisory Leaders, and Client Executives.
- Negotiate and evaluate quotes from carriers, presenting assessments to clients.
- Identify the need for new products and help design innovative solutions for clients.
- Participate in client presentations and support prospective client engagement.
- Opportunity to build relationships with key stakeholders and grow within a dynamic unit.

- P&C license required or ability to obtain.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience in insurance brokerage (preferred).
- Knowledge of environmental risk (plus).
- Strong relationship building and rapport skills with internal colleagues, clients, and carriers.
- Self‑starter and resourceful, bringing solutions and ideas to the firm.fasterxml

- Understanding of practice goals and proactive in meeting them.
