About this exciting opportunity within our sales organizationThe Growth team is responsible for selling new products into prospects as well as our 500 existing clients. The target market segment is retailers (e.g., Grocery, Convenience, DIY, etc.) with $100 M to $1 B in annual revenue. You’ll run the entire sales cycle from prospecting and discovery to demo, negotiation, contracting, and ultimately driving the buying process to close. This is an incredibly exciting time to join the RELEX sales team as an early contributor on a new team responsible for scaling RELEX’s newest and fastest‑growing lines of business.
This role will be US‑based (Atlanta is preferred or remote within North America).
Key Responsibilities- Value‑Based Selling: deliver an engaging value‑based sales methodology and drive meaningful customer value for all stakeholders, including presenting the vision to C‑level executives.
- Prospecting: build and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities to meet quarterly and annual targets, with access and alignment to customer C‑level stakeholders.
- Sales Cycle Management: manage all aspects of the sales cycle, including solution development, deal‑term negotiation and contract closing for opportunities within the territory.
- Negotiation: negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure appropriate expectations are established, communicated, and documented.
- Sales Pipeline Management: maintain an accurate pipeline of all opportunities, white‑space, contacts and account history and provide appropriate communication.
- Ethical Selling: “Maybe this should go without saying,” but RELEX is strongly centered around selling what we can deliver; it is at the core of our principles and one reason we are roughly 100 % customer referenceable.
- Team Focus: work collaboratively with internal teams to maintain 100 % customer satisfaction, ensuring opportunities for additional business growth.
- Successful Track Record: 3+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience (e.g., Sales Development, Account Executive, Account Management) with demonstrable aptitude at consultative selling to C‑level executives. Background in supply chain or retail is a plus.
- Self‑Starter: independent, resourceful, adaptable, achievement‑oriented, resilient, entrepreneurial, and able to develop the territory into a functioning business.
- Team Player: open‑minded, hands‑on, team‑oriented, down‑to‑earth communicator with good experience interacting with inside sales, pre‑sales, alliances and sales operations.
- Customer‑Focused: customer satisfaction‑obsessed; demonstrable ability to build and maintain positive long‑term, win‑win relationships with clients.
- Value Seller: possesses a value‑selling DNA and strong background utilizing value‑selling tools; RELEX customers experience high ROI, and we align our solution and sales model accordingly.
- Good Communicator: excellent communication skills demonstrated in customer interactions, proposals, sales communications, internal updates and sales operations reporting in
- Expert Negotiator: business acumen and high EQ to lead SaaS and Services contract negotiations with C‑level, technical and legal teams on new deals; excellent at building predictable closing strategies aligned with the client.
