Role OverviewVectra is seeking a self‑starting, highly motivated field sales professional to join our Field Sales organization as a Commercial Sales Representative (CSR). The CSR will be responsible for all revenue within their territory, driving new business against large enterprise accounts, and partnering with our world‑class Sales Engineering team to own the sales process from start to finish.
Responsibilities- Identify, cultivate and close new business sales relationships with enterprise accounts at an executive level within designated territory, targeting CISO/CIO/CTO contacts.
- Maintain a disciplined approach to pipeline development through leveraging marketing, channel partners, customers, sales development team and organic prospecting.
- Develop an overall account strategy that drives a well‑executed, team‑based selling effort.
- Partner with Sales Engineers to deliver outstanding product demonstrations and proof‑of‑concept programs.
- Build strong partnerships with existing customers to focus on retention, high renewal rates and expansion.
- Effectively forecast monthly/quarterly revenue and communicate the status of strategic transactions to ensure alignment.
- Manage existing channel partners and develop new channel relationships.
- Travel domestically 3–4 days per week; occasional international travel.
- Develop quarterly strategic business plans for the territory.
- Minimum 3+ years of Commercial Sales experience exceeding quotas selling security, networking and/or software solutions.
- Hunter mentality: comfortable with cold calling, breaking doors and owning early‑stage pipeline development.
- Proven track record of closing complex enterprise sales with multiple buying influences.
- Experience closing deals of $200K+ and high‑value transactions above $1M.
- Strong presentation and communication skills translating technical features into business value.
- Experience with is a plus.
- Comfortable working in a highly fast‑paced environment.
- Background in consultative security fields (incident response, forensic investigations, threat intelligence, penetration testing, etc.) is desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Competitive base pay ranging from $172,600 to $250,000 USD, with incentive plan eligibility and participation in the employee equity plan (stock options). Benefits include health care insurance, income protection/life insurance, retirement savings plans, wellness services, generous paid time off, and an employee recognition program.
