NSO Visual Merchandising Manager [US]
As a NSO VM Support Manager, you will partner with business functions (visual merchandising, construction, retail operations, marketing, commercial, EHS), retail leadership, and store teams to ensure that new stores are delivered on‑time, on‑budget, and consistent with the Way We Work.
What You’ll DoProject Management- Coordinate all activities within the NSO Shop-in-a-Box Program, ensuring that cross‑functional teams are delivering to key milestones and hitting deadlines – including retail, operations, and commercial expectations
- Track overall NSO project status and provide regular updates to retail leadership on progress for each project
- Partner with field leadership and central functions colleagues to determine on‑site support requirements (buffer support) for each NSO project and manage all activities related to buffer support colleagues
- Serve as central point of contact and ensure that all project stakeholders, both the store team and central functions, are aligned to the NSO Shop-in-a-Box timeline
- Host NSO project kick‑off calls with Area Manager for the start of each project
- Facilitate regular NSO project planning calls with stakeholder group and drive for consistent alignment
- Deliver communication consistent with the Primark Way of Communicating – ensuring that all stakeholders are engaged, aligned, and information is cascaded appropriately throughout the process
- Guide the Store Manager in their achievement of NSO milestones, providing feedback & coaching to ensure adhere to The Way We Work
- Support the Store Manager in planning the retail handover period to account for store processes, merchandise setup, and on‑site training requirements for retail assistants
- Serve as the liaison for all teams from retail handover through new store opening day
- Lead efforts to remediate issues that arise during the NSO process, partnering with functional leads as needed to ensure the overall project stays on‑track
- Participate in punch walk and turnover to complete pre‑opening checklist and ensure that all punch list items are followed‑up on and completed prior to full sign‑off of an opened store
- Ensure that Opening Day activities are delivered to Primark brand standards
- Readily takes on new challenges and displays a can‑do attitude in good and bad times
