We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bakery Clerk to join our team full‑time in Roxbury, MA. The Bakery Clerk is responsible for preparing, baking, packaging, and merchandising fresh bakery products. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to food safety standards, and excellent time management to meet daily production goals and customer satisfaction.

• Prepare a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other bakery items according to store recipes or guidelines.
• Operate ovens, mixers, proofers, and other bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
• Package and label bakery products for retail sale, including use‑by dates and ingredient labels.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery production and service areas.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in receiving and stocking bakery ingredients and supplies.
• Follow production schedules and par levels to ensure product availability.
• Ensure product quality, consistency, and proper presentation.
• Provide friendly customer service when assisting or answering questions at the bakery counter.
• Follow food safety, allergen, and sanitation protocols.

• Knowledge of basic kitchen safety and sanitation standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
