Job Description

The Starting Hourly Rate is $18.75 USD per hour. The Pay Range is $18.75 USD - $28.15 USD per hour.

As a General Merchandise Expert, you will be responsible for ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. You will lead inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise areas of the store.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks.
• Engage with guests in a welcoming way, to help solve their specific needs.
• Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target.
• Execute daily tasks assigned to you by your leader to help achieve goals that align with business priorities.
• If certified, operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures.
• Execute processes including changing prices to products, merchandise set-up and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed by your leader.

• You should have a welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• You should be able to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• You should be able to work both independently and with a team, resolve guest questions quickly on the spot, and have attention to detail and follow a multi-step processes.
