Overview
Boston. Marcelino’s – Bar Manager. We are seeking an energetic and experienced Bar Manager to lead our vibrant bar operations with enthusiasm and precision. In this role, you will oversee daily bar activities, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain a lively yet organized environment. Your leadership will drive team performance, uphold high standards of food and beverage quality, and create memorable experiences for our guests.
The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, possesses strong management skills, and thrives in fast-paced settings.
- Supervise all bar operations, including food and beverage service, ensuring efficiency and quality.
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to foster a motivated and skilled team.
- Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and minimizing waste.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, alcohol regulations, and health codes at all times.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; oversee cash handling procedures.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for food preparation, ensuring timely delivery of orders in casual dining or fine dining environments.
- Train staff on customer service excellence, food handling, and safety protocols to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food service management with supervising responsibilities.
- Strong background in managing a quick service & fast food restaurant or casual dining setting; fine dining experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; proficient cash handling skills.
- Knowledge of inventory control, food safety standards, and kitchen management practices.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in team management, training & development, interviewing, and shift management.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
- Experience in catering, banquet operations, or hotel food & beverage services is desirable.
- Ability to manage budgets, perform food production tasks, and oversee food handling processes effectively.

Base Pay: $70,000/year
