Job DescriptionThe Churchman laboratory focuses on understanding transcription and mRNA processing regulation using high‑resolution genomic techniques.
We are seeking an individual as a Research Assistant to conduct experimental research in modern molecular genetics in mammalian cell cultures and yeast. Additionally, the individual will perform all lab management duties, including maintaining supplies, preparing common lab reagents, and maintaining lab organization. They will work with lab members and subcontractors to ensure highly functioning workplaces. The majority of duties will involve conducting research projects at a high level in collaboration with other lab members.
This entry‑level position will require oversight from lab members or direct supervision from the PI.

Qualifications- College background or equivalent work experience, preferably in a related discipline.
- At least one‑year related work experience (relevant coursework may count toward experience).

This is a one‑year term position from the date of hire, with the possibility of extension, contingent upon work performance and continued funding to support the position. - Standard Hours/
