Job Description:

Pay Range: $50.83hr - $55.83hr

Responsibilities:

• Drive the viral vector process to deliver internal productions of recombinant AAVs and baculoviruses.
• Design and execute molecular/cellular experiments, including PCR techniques and cell culture, to support bioprocess sample testing to guide the process optimization.
• Manage experimental workflows and vector inventory through electronic lab notebook documentation of experimental data, protocols, and reports.
• Assist in the group efforts on vector expression system upgrade, cell line development and characterization, and AAV capsids.

• MSc with 3+ years, or PhD with 0+ years of relevant experience in a scientific discipline such as molecular/cell biology, genetics, virology, or related field.

• Proficiency in cell culture and molecular biology techniques (transfection, molecular cloning).
• Knowledge or preferably experience in AAV and/or baculovirus.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational communication skills, and a good team player.
• Creative thinking, attention to details, and efficient project management in a fast-paced work environment.
