We invite applicants for a postdoctoral fellow position in the Naxerova lab at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. The work of the Naxerova lab focuses on somatic evolution. We welcome applications from recent PhD graduates who are interested in these or related fields, particularly those who may bring a new technology or perspective to the work in the lab.
The successful candidate will work with Dr. Naxerova to develop an independent research project within the scope of the lab’s research focus. The candidate will carry out experimental and computational research, apply for fellowship funding, contribute to grant and manuscript writing, participate in teaching and mentoring of lab members, and otherwise contribute to overall lab operations and collaborative environment.

With this appointment, you are represented by Harvard Academic Workers (HAW) – UAW for collective bargaining and compensation matters.
Basic Qualifications- Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. in genetics, genomics or related fields

- Research summary of PhD work.
- Cover letter describing your interest in the lab and initial ideas for new research directions or projects you could undertake in the lab.

Expected to start on or around February 2026 with some flexibility. - Duration:
One-year term from hire date, with possibility of extension subject to performance, business need, and continued funding.
