The Heikamp Lab at Dana‑Farber is seeking a Research Technician to join translational wet‑lab research in pediatric cancer. Led by Dr. Emily Heikamp, MD PhD, our focus is high‑risk pediatric leukemia driven by oncogenic fusion proteins. We investigate the mechanisms of these proteins and the potential of targeted epigenetic therapies to disrupt their activity.
Prior research laboratory experience is encouraged but not required. We particularly value candidates with background in molecular biology, biochemistry, and in‑vivo animal modeling of leukemia or related diseases. The position requires a commitment of two years on site, and we provide mentoring to support future careers in medicine or graduate study.
