Salary Range: $48,075.00 - $60,625.00
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training and internal pay comparison. The above hiring range represents the University s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
Responsibilities- Support research activities focused on the neurobiological and molecular mechanisms underlying stress-related psychiatric disorders conducted in the laboratory of Nikolaos P. Daskalakis, MD PhD at the Department of Pharmacology, Physiology and Biophysics.
- Assist with data processing workflows and the analysis and integration of multi-omic and clinical data from human and animal models, including gene expression, epigenetic, endocrine, and behavioral datasets.
- Collaborate closely with other team members on computational and experimental efforts.
- Perform tasks under the supervision of senior scientific staff and maintain high standards for data quality and reproducibility.
- Background in neuroscience, molecular biology, bioinformatics, or a related field.
- Experience with large datasets and biological samples.
- Bachelor s degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience.
