In this role, you will be at the forefront of drug discovery, assisting in the development and execution of complex cell-based assays. You will work in a highly collaborative environment, bridging the gap between manual wet-lab techniques and high-throughput automation. This is an incredible opportunity for a scientist who is passionate about molecular biology and immunology to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies while contributing to meaningful therapeutic breakthroughs.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing, executing, and troubleshooting new cell-based assays, protocols, and analysis methods.
  • Establish SOPs using automation (BRAVO/Apricot) to increase assay throughput
  • Design and execute experiments, interpret data, and communicate results and findings clearly and concisely to teams and stakeholders
  • Support the maintenance and characterization of iPSC-derived cell populations including immunocytochemistry, plate-based assays (Quanterix, Luminex, MSD), qPCR and other molecular biology techniques.
  • Collaborate across functional areas.
Education
  • BS degree in molecular and cell biology or related disciplines such as immunology or biological engineering with 1-2+ years of wet lab experience in academia or industry.
Experience
  • Extensive experience with mammalian cell culture using sterile techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform accurate data analysis and carefully maintain a notebook record of lab activities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including preparation of lab reports and presentations. Strong attention to detail.
  • Extensive in vitro experience
  • Successful candidate must be able to remain focused and on task without supervision.
Additional Information
