Assistant Pet Salon Manager

Minimum requirements for applicants are:

• Passion for dogs and dog grooming
• Enthusiasm, energy and ambition
• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to speak English
• Minimum of 2 years dog grooming experience
• Ability and desire to interact with clients and their pets
• Ability to manage staff in a busy salon environment
• Ability to create schedules and work with scheduling software
• Comfort with a variety of dog breeds and temperaments
• Communicate well with people and animals
• Able to work around pet hair and dander
• Willingness to be educated about our products and services
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Reliable transportation to Newbury Street in Boston (we are on the Green Line of the T)
• Physically capable of standing on feet for long periods of time

Please include information about your grooming experience with your application. As part of our application process, you will likely be expected to provide a portfolio and come in for an in-person grooming demo.

Pay: $24.00 – $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
