RN PACU-Boston, MA

The post‑anesthesia care Unit (PACU) nurse cares for patients who have undergone anesthesia, observing and treating patients post‑operation to ensure they safely awaken from anesthesia. The PACU nurse must monitor vital signs and levels of consciousness to verify that sedation is wearing off properly, that no adverse reactions occur, and that patients are regaining consciousness.

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required (pediatric PACU or pediatric ICU)
• BSN preferred
• PALS certification required
