A healthcare facility in Boston, MA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) expertise to join their dynamic nursing team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical procedures
• Monitor vital signs and assess patients' conditions regularly to ensure stability
• Manage pain and discomfort through appropriate interventions and medication administration
• Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members for coordinated care
• Document patient progress, treatments, and any changes promptly and accurately
• Maintain a safe, sterile, and comfortable environment for patients during recovery

Experience and Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Proven experience working in a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) or similar acute care setting
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for patient monitoring post-surgery
• Ability to work efficiently in a team and independently in a high-pressure environment
• Excellent communication skills and patient-focused approach
