Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) is currently hiring qualified CRNA’s to work at our Main Campus in Boston, MA. This advanced practice position offers interested individuals the opportunity to develop their clinical skills with a dynamic anesthesia team in a large, academic medical center with a rich history and strong medical school affiliation.

At MGH, CRNAs have a great working relationship with anesthesiologists and are part of an integrated care team model. We have an exceptional leadership team, an extensive orientation and training program and regularly scheduled check‑ins to support new graduate CRNAs and ensure they succeed in an acute, fast‑paced environment. Our focus on teaching, learning, and innovation prepares our CRNAs for growth and development within the department.

• Place IVs, A‑lines and central lines, and do our own spinals, epidurals, fiber optic intubations and occasional regional blocks
• Handle a wide variety of cases including trauma, burns, general surgery, orthopedics, neurology, vascular, thoracic, electrophysiology, endoscopy, interventional radiology, and pediatrics
• Collaborate with expert clinicians in the OR (nurses and surgeons)
• Some of our sites offer regional and cardiac
• Work synergistically with our anesthesiologists in a care team model
