• Shifts: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), straight nights, every other weekend required

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Massachusetts RN license or compact state license as applicable)
• At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend
• Submission of resume, references, and completed skills checklist
• Successful completion of background screening and onboarding health documentation (MMR, Influenza, TB, Health Statement, etc.)
• Preferred: current BLS and fetal monitoring competency / EFM training (if available)

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to laboring patients and their families in a busy L&D unit
• Monitor maternal and fetal status; interpret fetal heart tracings and respond promptly to changes (electronic fetal monitoring/EFM)
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered; manage labor analgesia per unit protocol
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, operative procedures, and emergent obstetric situations
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, anesthesia, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, safe care
• Provide patient and family education and emotional support throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner using the unit's clinical systems
