PACU Registered Nurse (RN) Travel Nurse — 13-week night-shift contract at a top academic medical center in Boston, MA 02114. We are seeking an experienced PACU RN (Post Anesthesia Care Unit Registered Nurse) for a travel nursing job with straight nights. - Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) — straight nights
- Schedule: 36 hours/week, Monday–Thursday; every other holiday and rotating coverage as needed
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2130 – $2250
- Openings: 1
- Interview Required: No
- 3+ years of RN experience required (Registered Nurse)
- 1+ year of recent travel PACU experience required (PACU travel nurse experience)
- 1+ year of experience in an academic medical center required (academic hospital experience)
- Active RN license (license/certificate verification required at submission)
- Resume, references, and skills checklist required for submission
- Compliance with onboarding requirements, including health screenings and background checks
- Provide high-quality post-anesthesia and postoperative care for patients in the PACU (anesthesia recovery, perioperative nursing)
- Support thoracic surgery, surgical pathology, sub-acute, pediatric PACU, and pediatric OR populations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (surgeons, anesthesiologists, perioperative staff) to ensure patient safety and optimal recovery
- Maintain accurate documentation, follow clinical protocols, and manage anesthesia recovery orders
- Participate in coverage for holidays and rotating shifts as needed
