Amergis Healthcare Staffing is proud to partner with a respected correctional facility in Billerica, MA, currently seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time positions. Correctional or psychiatric experience is required.

Correctional Facility - Start Date:
March 2nd - Duration: 6-month contract to start, with strong potential for extension
- Schedule:
Tuesday–Saturday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM - Pay: $60/hr local & $2,650 travel
- Administer medications and assist with medical treatments
- Perform triage, risk assessments, and emergency first aid
- Apply surgical dressings and bandages
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Collect specimens for diagnostic testing
- Document care accurately and timely
- Report reactions to treatments and changes in patient condition
- Educate patients and assist with discharge planning
- Promote a therapeutic and professional environment
- Support physicians and perform other duties as assigned
- Active Massachusetts RN license or proof of application
- Minimum 1 year of correctional healthcare or psychiatric experience
- Current CPR certification
- Current health certificate (as required by contract or state regulation)

Minimum Requirements- Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices
- Minimum of one year of correctional health care experience preferred
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
