Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Oncology

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Oncology Nurse Coordinator/Navigator position in a busy ambulatory clinic, requiring MA licensure and oncology expertise.

Job Details

• Ambulatory hematology/oncology clinic setting,

• Solid tumor patient population in a unit with 27 treatment bays and exam rooms,

• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5pm,

• No weekend, holiday, or on-call shifts,

• Use of Epic EMR is required,

Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license in hand,

• Minimum of one year recent oncology nursing experience,

• Basic Life Support (BLS, AHA) certification required,

• Chemotherapy/biotherapy certification highly preferred,

• Must be proficient in Epic EMR,

• Knowledge of inabset management is required,

• Must not have been employed by Beth Israel Lahey Health in the previous 6 months,

• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility (no locals allowed),

• COVID-19 vaccine, booster, and seasonal flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed),

Additional Information

• Primary responsibilities include patient navigation, care coordination, and supporting oncology patients through treatment,

• This is a nurse coordinator/navigator role with a focus on patient advocacy and interdisciplinary collaboration,

• Pass/fail Tele/ECG and medication testing may be required at certain campuses,

• Parking may cost up to $43 per day at the Boston location,
