This Nurse Manager position is essential for ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of obstetrics and gynecology clinical services across all locations. The role provides operational oversight, including workforce management, budget adherence, and regulatory compliance, directly impacting daily clinical flow and resource allocation. By fostering a professional, supportive, and interdisciplinary environment, the Nurse Manager promotes staff development, enhances patient engagement, and drives optimal, evidence-based patient outcomes.
The leadership role aligns clinical operations with the department s strategic goals for service excellence and care coordination.

Directs, plans and coordinates the service activities and staffing performance of professional nursing and auxiliary nursing personnel in rendering quality patient care. May provide direct patient care.
Essential Functions- Ensure the development, implementation, and evaluation of staff onboarding, training, and education.
- Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback for staff.
- Ensure a positive work environment that is safe for patients, visitors and staff.
- Coordinate unit activities with other hospital departments.
- Develop and implement staffing plans.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.

Qualifications
Education- Bachelor s Degree in Nursing required or Master s Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No.
- Registered Nurse (RN) state license required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification preferred.
- Nursing experience 2-3 years required.
- Nursing leadership experience 1-2 years preferred.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong commitment to clinical excellence.
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Knowledgeable of the care required by respective age groups for which care is provided.
