The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at BMC-Brighton, a member of the Boston Medical Center Health System, is seeking a full‑time, experienced Certified Nurse Midwife to join our team. The St. Margaret’s Center for Women and Infants at BMC‑Brighton offers an intimate, personalized patient care experience with expert doctors, nurse midwives, and nurses. BMC‑Brighton is located in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston and serves a diverse patient population from the Boston area and beyond.

BMC-Brighton, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is comprised of subspecialties including General Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology. BMC-Brighton serves as a tertiary care hospital and is a teaching hospital of Boston University School of Medicine and Tufts University School of Medicine.

Responsibilities:

• Work independently and in collaboration with a team of physicians.
• Provide a full 40‑hour work week including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform bedside procedures as appropriate to the patient population.
• Act as the first assist in procedural areas or the operating room.
• Participate in teaching opportunities and ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited program.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification.
• Current Massachusetts license to practice.
• Ideal candidates have 2+ years of OB/GYN experience and/or strong interest in OB/GYN.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated clinical expertise for functioning in an independent role.
• PA or CNM experience in Obstetrics/Gynecology is encouraged.

Compensation: $83,000.00 – $, based on qualifications. Includes medical, dental, vision, pharmacy benefits, discretionary annual bonuses, merit increases, FSA, 403(b) savings match, paid time off, career advancement opportunities, and resources to support employee and family well‑being.
