Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a multi-specialty ICU position in Massachusetts requiring a current MA license, advanced cardiac certifications, and strong telemetry skills.

Job Details

• Work in a 38-bed multi-specialty ICU in a hospital setting,

• Patient population includes critically ill adults requiring intensive care and telemetry monitoring,

• Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts (36 hours per week), every other weekend and every other holiday required,

• Telemetry rhythm strip interpretation required,

• Uses computerized patient record systems,

• Level 1 Trauma hospital environment,

Job Requirements

• Active MA RN license at time of consideration,

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required,

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU RN experience,

• Telemetry experience and ability to independently interpret rhythm strips required,

• Minimum 18 months of ICU experience in a trauma setting required,

• Diploma, ASN or BSN (BSN preferred),

• Must pass Relias Advanced Dysrhythmia Test (A or

B) with only two attempts permitted,

• Effective verbal and written communication skills,

• Physical ability to perform job responsibilities,

• Basic computer proficiency,

• Two professional references required, including one from a manager, with at least one reference within the past 12 months,

Additional Information

• Provide comprehensive assessment, care planning, and intervention for critically ill ICU patients,

• Collaborate closely with physicians, patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team,

• Document care and interpret computerized data and patient information,

• Involved in ongoing quality improvement initiatives within the unit,
