RN School

Salary: $1800 / Week

The 1:1 School Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the nursing process and delivering individualized student care within the school environment. This role ensures that all services are provided in alignment with physician orders and in accordance with the standards, policies, and philosophy of both the School District and Amergis Healthcare.

Minimum Requirements:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state(s) where practicing
• One year of school nursing experience, preferred
• Pediatric experience, preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR certification, if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray, if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

This position involves providing care for a 10-year-old male student with medical needs including G-tube and seizure disorder, who has great attendance and resides in Dorchester. The RN will provide transport and care as required.
