NICURN Job Details
- Position: NICU Registered Nurse (Travel Assignment)
- Location: Boston, MA 02215
- Unit: Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), 40 beds
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 1/26/2026 – End: 4/25/2026)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00pm – 7:00am), every other weekend required
- Shifts per Week: 3
- Hours per Week: 36 (72 hours biweekly guaranteed)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2707 - $2781
- Paid Parking: Available
- Public Transportation: Easily accessible
- Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in a Level III or IV NICU
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Massachusetts RN license preferred)
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility (no local travelers)
- Must not have worked at health system in any capacity within the past year
- Ability to work one major and one minor holiday during contract
- Flu vaccination required prior to start (medical exemptions only)
- Deliver specialized neonatal nursing care for critically ill infants in a Level III NICU
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status and progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide comprehensive clinical support
- Administer medications and treatments according to hospital protocols
- Educate and support families throughout the NICU stay
- Participate in weekly orientation and ongoing clinical training
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations
