Travel RN - GI​/Endoscopy

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring a current MA RN license, ACLS certification, and expertise with Epic EMR.

Job Details

• Work in a GI/Endoscopy unit performing general GI procedures such as colonoscopies, EGDs, and dilations,

• Day shift schedule, 10-hour shifts from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm,

• No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements,

• Epic EMR system is used and experience with Epic is required,

• IV insertion skills are necessary,

• No local travelers accepted; must reside more than 50 miles from the facility,

Job Requirements

• Active MA RN license required at the time of consideration,

• Current BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications required,

• Prior procedural experience with general GI procedures required,

• Proficiency with Epic EMR required,

• IV insertion skills required,

• Experience with moderate sedation preferred,

• Must not have worked at the facility as travel, permanent, or per diem staff within the last six months,

• COVID-19 vaccine plus booster and flu vaccination required (medical exemptions allowed),

• Must pass Tele/ECG and medication tests for Milton and Plymouth campuses,

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care throughout GI procedures including moderate sedation and IV insertion,

• Orientation is scheduled weekly on Mondays,

• All requests for time off must be presented at the time of consideration,

• Parking costs in the area can be up to $43 per day,

• Returning employees must complete a six-month separation from any previous assignments at the health system,
