Job Details
• Position is in a hospital-based GI/Endoscopy unit,
• 10-hour day shifts, 7:30am to 6:00pm,
• No weekends, holidays, or on-call required,
• Care involves general GI procedures including colonoscopies, EGDs, and dilations,
• Epic EMR is used and previous Epic experience is required,
• Moderate sedation experience is a plus,
Job Requirements
• Active MA RN license required at time of consideration,
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) by AHA,
• Experience assisting with GI procedures and procedural tech duties,
• IV insertion skills required,
• At least one year of relevant nursing experience in GI/Endoscopy,
• Epic EMR experience required,
• Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility (no local candidates accepted),
• Candidates must not have worked at the health system in any capacity within the last six months,
• COVID-19 vaccination with booster and seasonal flu vaccination are required (medical exemptions permitted),
Additional Information
• Responsibilities include assisting with GI procedures, preparing patients, and monitoring during moderate sedation,
• Weekly orientation is provided on Mondays,
• Tele/ECG and medication testing may be required at select campuses,
• Parking costs may vary by location,
