Position SummaryThe Pediatric Intermediate Care Unit (PIMCU) provides care for a patient population requiring a more acute level of care but do not require invasive monitoring. Common diagnoses include asthma, bronchiolitis, diabetic keto acidosis, apnea, multisystem disorders, and patients needing BiPAP and CPAP.
Key Responsibilities- Providing care for PIMCU patients.
- Working collaboratively to provide family-centered care as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Working 30 hours rotating days/nights and every other weekend (eligible for full-time benefits).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Minimum of 1 year of inpatient acute RN experience.
- Preferred: 2+ years of acute pediatric RN experience.
- Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Base pay range: $63,336 / yr – $ / yr.
