- Observe, recognize, and report signs and symptoms that require emergency treatment, and initiate measures and/or first aid.
- Accurately obtain, record, and report vital signs, recheck as indicated, and report abnormal findings to the primary nurse, charge nurse, or physician.
- Set up equipment for and/or assist physicians/clinicians with treatments, dressings, and tests as assigned.
- Perform 12‑lead EKG, document patient information, and promptly provide the EKG to the appropriate nurse and physician.
- Establish and maintain IVs and hang fluids according to physician orders.
- Administer medications via oral, sublingual, nebulizer, IM, SC, ETT, IV infusion, and IV push routes in critical situations.
- Graduate of an approved Paramedic Training program. EMT‑P certification preferred. ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
- Ability to perform prolonged standing and walking; occasional twisting, bending, reaching, pushing/pulling, sitting, kneeling, squatting, and lifting 5–10 lbs.
Starting at $29.25 per hour, up to $44 per hour based on experience.
