Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with a MA license and strong inpatient OR and scrub experience for a 13-week, evening-shift assignment.

• Position is based in a hospital Operating Room with 17 ORs staffed 24/7
• Surgical services include general, GYN, GU, oral, otolaryngology, bariatrics, orthopedics, neuro, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatrics, trauma, and spine
• Evening shift, 12-hour shifts with 9am and 11am start times, totaling 36 hours per week
• Schedule requires working every third weekend
• No major holiday coverage required
• One call shift per schedule is required
• May float to additional OR locations as needed
• Must be able to maintain a positive attitude and adapt as needed within a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
• Relias Advanced Dysrhythmia assessment must be passed prior to consideration
• Scrub attire is required per hospital guidelines
• References must include two manager-level contacts, one within the past 12 months and one from within the past three years

• Active MA RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient OR experience required
• Level 1 trauma hospital experience preferred
• OR scrub experience required
• Competency in at least 5 of the listed service lines required
• Strong communication skills and demonstrated flexibility are essential
