Job Description

American Traveler seeks an experienced EP RN for a Cardiology Electrophysiology Lab position in Massachusetts, requiring an active MA RN license and current BLS and ACLS certifications.

• Work in a Cardiology Electrophysiology Lab setting focused on treatment of cardiac arrhythmias
• Care provided for adult, elderly, and critically ill patients with complex heart rhythm disorders
• Procedures include catheter ablation, ICD implantation, CRT, and laser lead extraction
• Shifts are 07:00 to 19:00
• EMR system used is Epic
• Requires flexibility for shift coverage and overtime
• Responsibilities include providing and maintaining a therapeutic environment for patients and families
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills required
• Duties involve collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and supporting continuity of care
• Strict adherence to Radiation Safety and hospital regulatory protocols is required
• Flu vaccination is required with no medical or religious exemptions permitted
• Parking is available at daily rates; public transportation options are accessible
• Local candidates must reside over 60 miles from the facility to qualify for standard travel rates

• Active MA RN license required; no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or approved equivalent
• Demonstrated advanced knowledge of cardiovascular pathophysiology and hemodynamics
• Experience with cardiac diagnostic and mapping systems required
• Excellent computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office and computers
• Physically able to lift patients, linen, and supplies
