Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing Services in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
  • Strong working knowledge of long-term care regulations and compliance standards
  • Experience supporting restorative and rehabilitative nursing programs
Must Haves:
  • Partner closely with the Director of Nursing to implement and refine nursing policies and clinical practices
  • Participate in resident assessments, care planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Align staffing resources with resident acuity and operational needs
  • Lead staff education, coaching, and performance oversight
  • Support survey readiness, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance initiatives
  • Contribute to discharge planning and performance improvement efforts
Preferred Background & Skills:
  • Experience in high-quality skilled nursing or post-acute settings
  • Strong leadership presence with a hands-on, team-focused approach
  • Ability to balance clinical excellence with compassionate resident-centered care
  • Experience working collaboratively with physicians, families, and advocacy groups
