Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level III NICU night shift position requiring a MA RN license and NRP certification.
Responsibilities- Position is in a Level III NICU with 40 beds
- Neonatal patient population with high acuity cases
- 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend and one major plus one minor holiday coverage required
- Weekly orientation starts every Monday except holidays
- NICU nurses will provide care to critically ill neonates
- Team-based work environment with nurse manager interviews
- Paid parking available in parking garages and access to public transportation
- All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Testing on Tele/ECG and medication may be required
- Active MA RN license required
- Current NRP certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Level 3 or 4 NICU
- Flu and COVID-19 vaccines with booster required prior to start; medical exemptions accepted
- Cannot reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Candidates must have not worked at the facility in any capacity within the last year to be considered
