Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical ICU night shift position requiring a MA RN license and Level 1 trauma experience.
Responsibilities- Position is in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) within a hospital setting
- 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Every third weekend is required
- 10-week contract duration
- Patient care is focused on critically ill medical patients in a Level 1 trauma center
- Weekly orientation provided every Monday, except holidays
- Nurse manager will conduct interviews and make offers
- Tele/ECG and medication testing required (Milton and Plymouth campuses)
- Must cover assigned holidays during the contract as needed
- Parking costs may be up to $43 per day
- Active MA RN license is required at time of consideration
- American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years recent MICU experience
- Level 1 trauma center experience required
- COVID-19 vaccine/booster and flu vaccination required (medical exemptions allowed)
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
- Must have been separated from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility for at least 6 months to be eligible
